Jen and I went on a walk today since it was so pretty outside, and one of things we talked about was music. I've been meaning to download more Orange Range stuff besides the Hana Kimi theme song and the Bleach song. So now, I have three of their albums I think? I love their songs. They're all so happy and bouncy and catchy. I made a playlist of them, the hana kimi soundtrack, the two perky Kazuki songs, and random DBSK songs that aren't so famous like Rainbow and Summer Dream for when I drive back to G-town tomorrow. I am so freaking excited. Really, you have no idea.

...I just discovered that you can download seasons of t.v. shows from amazon.com. This does not look good for my checking account. On that note, ignore Len Len's post. She's kind of a crazy ♥

I think I'm going to spring for a new ipod this summer. Mine has a crack in the screen and randomly spazzes out. That does not make me happy at all =/

Going back to school tomorrow!! Excited to see my friends and sleep in my dorm bed again (weird how that one is more comfortable no?), but not so excited to go back to class. Really, who is? Homework and a Micro test on Thursday that I haven't started studying for is lameeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

My mother just came in with my skirt I'm wearing to mass tomorrow and goes, "You're not going to fit into that anymore." I felt an odd sort of satisfaction when I put it on and still had room to spare. Seriously, I'm sick and tired of having that conversation everytime I come home. So. Not. Cool.

Buying time before I go to the Mall of America

In the past three days, I've left home, gone home, and then flown to home again? It's all very confusing to me, because every place I've been as seemed like home. Leaving college was hard and I've already callled/been called by people going "I miss itttttttttttt." Coming home was an amazing feeling. My brother and I stayed up late playing guitar hero, my dad told me pointless stories again, and My mom hugged on me and did my laundry. Then I flew to Minnesota where our surprise made my grandfather cry, I rolled around in the snow with three of my youngest cousins, laughed and played poker with my slightly intoxicated uncles, gone shopping with my aunts. Each holds three different sets of people whom I love. Each brings me joy in slightly different ways. I guess it's true what they say about the people making the place and not the other way around. Am I making any sense here?

Oh! Funny story: So my single uncle was the only one who knew about us coming up to Minnesota(he picked us up from the airport etc) so my aunts and uncles had this theory that Jason was bringing a girlfriend with him to my cousin's party. Well, I got there first with him, and they didn't recognize me with my glasses and my short hair. Basically it was freaking hilarious to see their faces after about two minutes when they realized it was me. Ah, good times.

All is not exactly quiet on the western front

I had forgotten how much I loved Kazuki's voice...for a whole day. Not so much his "rock" stuff (Although for some reason, I adore Starlight Dreamer, and I can't seem to get enough of Vampire), but the ballads where you can really hear his voice. It soothes me, comforts me, and calms me down after two bottles of coke and a candy bar. Listened to his new single...it's not really my favorite, so I'm kind of glad that I didn't spring for it and buy it on a whim like I had wanted to. His next album however will be a very different story...

I still need to listen to Run & Gun. I need new music, new cds. Yeah, that would be nice before my trip up north.

I got my classes for my first semester of college. I'm in freshmen writing (blah), Spanish III (more blah), my seminar about writing about Chinese in English (not the one I wanted, but interesting none the less), Comparative Politics (YESSSSSS PLEASE!), and the big one...

Calculus. I am so fucked. Doomed. Going to explode. Absolutely terrified. Get the picture? :P

I'm really hoping that they get my AP scores realize that I got a 5 on the Statistics exam, so that way that fulfills my math credit instead of this calculus crap.

Harry Potter. Harry Potter. Harry Potter. It was a good ending; not my favorite book, but still good. What I find incredibly hilarious is that there was this group of guys standing outside of Barnes and Noble as we left, spouting off what we thought were stupid, made up rumors. Spoiler ahead! So when Bellatrix actually stabbed Dobby with a knife and killed him and Harry named his kid Albus Severus; I kind of chuckled to myself. Not because of what had happened, but because I'm an idiot for not believing them :P

So we made shirts based on the Potter Puppet Pals spoofs (if you haven't seen them, you should definitely check them out on youtube!)

This is Albert, he is the most insane HP fan I have ever met. We're talking stares at HP websites and waits for updates. I wish I was kidding.

We ditched Barnes and Noble at midnight, tried Randalls to no avail, and finally achieved VICTORY at Wal-mart plus free bookmarks and posters.

The Joy Luck club is turning out to be an interesting read. There are a lot of powerful quotes nestled in its pages, and I keep underlining them like mad. Now I just have to get my butt to the library and do my journal entires.
